It’s your annual opportunity for a seasonal treat combined with the sweet feeling of helping others on Saturday February 25th from 7:00am – 1:00pm. It’s Steve’s Sugar Shack of Westhampton’s Opening Day! Steve has once again offered to donate a portion of the day’s profits to Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity, and a donation jar will be available throughout the sugar season. Thank you to Steve and Julie Holt and the WCCC for their years of support through this festive event!

Gingerbread Build at Home 2020 Award Ceremony
If you are a baker (and even if you’re not), you know that gingerbread emerges when the right mixture of spices and sweeteners and flour and other key ingredients are artfully blended and baked. So too, does Habitat’s mission emerge when the right blend of volunteerism, contributions, hard work and good will come together. We create something for the common good: affordable homeownership for the families in our communities that wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to own their own homes.

Timeline
- Register your team by noon on Wednesday December 2nd to reserve your kit and pick up location
- Pick up your gingerbread kit Saturday December 5th
- Build your masterpiece at home
- Submit 3 photos to gingerbread@pvhabitat.org by Thursday December 10th at midnight
- Login Saturday December 12th at 3pm for a live virtual award ceremony

Northampton Brewery’s Beer Garden BBQ
Celebrate the end of the season out on the deck with the Northampton Brewery! To celebrate Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity‘s 30th anniversary, Northampton Brewery is brewing a special beer, “Hop-i-tat for Humanity!" Tickets are $40; learn more about the event here.
Can't make the event? “Hop-i-tat for Humanity” will be running for the entire week and $1.00 of each pint sold will be donated to Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity!
